Cloud Foundry OR Kubernetes Engineers

Job Description & Required Qualifications:
• Note: These engineers will be supporting the PaaS platforms themselves. Products that they should have experience with are: Tanzu Application Service (TAS) formerly known as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated (TKGI) formerly known as Pivotal Kubernetes Service (PKS), and/or Google Anthos which runs Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Client is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer within the Application and Cloud Transformation (ACT) team.
• Overall 10+ years of experience, 3+ years working with Cloud Foundry and have a proven track record of building complex infrastructure programmatically through automation and scripting.
• Drive architectural discussions and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high visibility Cloud Foundry initiatives to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and high availability in the private cloud space.
• In depth, practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, trends and industry-leading cloud vendor offerings.
• Experienced in implementing risk and control requirements for cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Foundry.
• 2+ years of experience with building, deploying, and securing cloud platforms.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux.
• 5+ years of experience in scripting (BASH, Shell, Python).
Desired Qualifications:
• 3+ years of public/private cloud experience.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and engineering cloud native solutions.
• Experience working with cloud security management or governance tools.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
• Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
