DATA ENGINEER I

Assist in design, development, maintenance of basic data pipelines and data integration processes using standard data engineering tools and techniques. Support the collection, processing, and storage of structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources. Work with relational databases and data warehouses to store, retrieve, and manage data using basic SQL queries. Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Use a programming language such as Python, Java, or a similar language to support data processing and automation tasks under supervision. Assist in implementing and supporting basic ETL workflows and data movement processes. Collaborate with senior data engineers, data analysts, and software development teams to support data-related requirements. Monitor data workflows and help identify and resolve basic data issues following established procedures. Follow documented coding standards, data governance policies, and security guidelines. Maintain documentation related to data pipelines, data models, and system processes. Participate in testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting activities as part of team-based development.
